Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach town near the Arabian sea in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India. The word, Kovalam came from a grove of coconut trees which are commonly spotted here. The place is famous for its Halcyon Castle, a beach resort built by Maharani Sethu Lakshmi Bayi of Travancore in the 1920s. Shri Dharma Sastha temple: It is a beautiful temple situated at village Sasthamcotta, Kerala, India.
