The place is located near in well crowded area of the region yet it is known for being haunted in the region.  In 2011, one national news channel also reported the places, among the most haunted places in India. According to the local people, GP Block Meerut is haunted by the four ghosts who have seen getting alcohol in candle light on the roof of the building. Another story says, there is a woman in the building who is wearing red dress and seen howling here and there at the building. According to nearby household, it is a common sight at GP Block.
