Kasauli is a small hill station and cantonment in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, which was established during the British Era in 1842. Buda Bharsar is a high altitude temple of Ghandiyal/Ghantakarna Devta. Lying beyond dense forests and fresh-water brooks. A fine specimen of architecture, standing proud and dignified for centuries, now lies semi-ruined, forgotten and virtually unknown.
Such jewels lie hidden and scattered across our Land of Gods. Of course, there is ample time to explore them, if only we get time from visiting over-rated places.
- Situated in Bharsar region, Thalisain Block of Pauri district, a few hours trek from Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry
